The era of the head scarf - Ladies loved their weekly salon visits for a wash and blow dry. Headscarfs are a beautiful accessory often worn by women in sports cars on a sunny day, or in the European countries where wearing push bike helmets is not compulsory. I have this beautiful memory in Rotterdam of a lady on her large black push bike with a paper rack on the back, she stopped to pick up her girlfriend who sat side saddle on the paper rack and off they rode in their stockings and headscarfs.
